Gil Scott has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the business of sports. A graduate of Michigan State University (B.A. ’73), he has been representing professional athletes since 1979. Mr. Scott was the first Canadian contract advisor to be certified by the NFLPA and has negotiated over 300 contracts in his career; including the first 1 million dollar contract for a CFL player in Western Canada and the richest contract for kicker, at that time, in the history of the NFL. Mr. Scott served as the Sports Consultant for the Royal Bank’s Sports Professionals Program from 1997 through 2009. He currently serves as a consultant with Clutch Private Financial Management. A man of strong faith, Gil is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of YES TV and Crossroads Christian Communications which produces 100 Huntley Street Canadas longest running daily television program. He previously  served for twelve years as the Chairman of Equip Canada, a non- profit  specializing in the development of effective, international Christian leaders. On this project, Gil worked side-by-side with EQUIP’s founder John Maxwell, the renown author and speaker. This organization has trained over five million Christian leaders worldwide on leadership.
