Community Outreach Coordinator
Barry Foval grew up in Orange City, Iowa where he was a four sport athlete in high school, lettering in football, wrestling, track and baseball all four years. He went on the play college football, first at Mid-America Nazarene College before transferring to Southern Nazarene University. Barry was on NFL practice squads for three seasons, spending time with the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. He has trained and competed in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and trained with military and law enforcement for eight years. He has attended the Tau Consortium for the past two years, working for a cure for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP).
Barry joined the Concussion Legacy Foundation as the Community Outreach Coordinator in January 2017. He has been personally affected by concussions and hopes his work will help advance research and promote awareness.
