Cory Walton

Marketing Manager

Cory joined the Concussion Legacy Foundation in November 2023 after working in the veteran-serving community for nearly four years at the nonprofit organization Stop Soldier Suicide. At SSS, he was responsible for all aspects of marketing for an organization that provides free, suicide-specific care to veterans via telehealth solutions.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Journalism from the University of Missouri, Cory spent a decade working in collegiate athletics, specifically with men’s basketball programs. His stops included Purdue University, the University of Arizona, and Duke University, where he had the privilege of working for Hall of Fame head coach Mike Krzyzewski before turning his focus to the nonprofit space.

Cory is a two-time Mizzou graduate, having completed a Master’s of Public Affairs from the university’s Truman School of Public Affairs in 2020. He is both a lifelong athlete and sports fan, most strongly of the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Working now at the intersection of his passions for the athletics and veteran communities, Cory is determined to contribute his skills to CLF’s continued growth and success.
