Kristina Hjertkvist

Kristina Hjertkvist joined the Concussion Legacy Foundation in 2025 as a Development and Event Specialist. She was born in Södertälje, Sweden but grew up in New York and graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in business management and marketing.

Prior to joining CLF, Kristina spent 11 years in the NHL working in community relations. She began with the New York Islanders before joining the Tampa Bay Lightning, where she was part of two Stanley Cup championship teams during her tenure.

Kristina has seen the challenges presented by concussions throughout her time in professional sports and in her own experience playing soccer for 15 years. She is excited for the opportunity to use her skills and passion to help further CLF’s mission and End CTE.
