Edina Bijvoet
Edina (Edi) Bijvoet joined the Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada team in March of 2021 as the National Chapter Coordinator, and is now the Director of Educational Programming and internal project manager. Before joining Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada as a staff member, she volunteered with the organization during her undergraduate studies, leading the
University of Toronto Chapter.
Edi is also a graduate student in the Health Behaviour and Emotion Lab at the University of Toronto. Her research utilizes biometric tools (including galvanic skin response, facial
expression analysis algorithms, and eye tracking) to examine the impact of body surveillance on performance.
Edi is certified in iMotions (Purchased by the Smart Eye Group in 2021) software after completing a certification course at their global headquarters in Copenhagen. She will graduate with her Master of Science in the Summer of 2024.
In addition to academia, Edi also has an extensive background in project management, having completed multiple courses on Project Management, and having led dozens of projects. Beyond her project management work at Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada, Edi also worked in video project management and production for the Leon Hendrix YouTube Channel, where she managed and produced videos reaching millions, built and fostered a community of loyal subscribers, planned complex video shoots, and secured high profile guests for the channel.
Edi is also a member of the Disney Alumni Association and has completed two Disney Cultural Exchanges at the Walt Disney Company.
