Erika Driver-Dunckley, MD
Erika Driver-Dunckley, MD, FAAN, is a Professor of Neurology and Chair of the Movement Disorders Division in the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic. She completed her neurology residency at Barrow Neurological Institute and a fellowship in Movement Disorders at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She is Board-certified in Neurology.
Dr. Driver-Dunckley teaches medical students at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine and mentors residents and junior faculty. She has developed and led multiple continuing medical education courses and conferences in neurology and movement disorders. She serves as principal investigator or co-investigator on several clinical trials at Mayo Clinic and collaborates with researchers at Arizona State University and Banner Sun Health Research Institute.
Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian disorders (including Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), Essential Tremor, and Dystonia, with an emphasis on improving clinical care and advancing understanding of movement disorders.
