Jeremy Tanner, MD
Jeremy Tanner, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio and faculty in the South Texas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. He completed his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at the University of Southern California, medical training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He then completed neurology residency and served as Chief Resident at the University of California San Francisco, followed by fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center.
At the Biggs Institute, Dr. Tanner cares for patients affected by neurodegenerative diseases, leading multidisciplinary clinics for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and Early-Onset Dementia. His research focuses on translating biomarkers to improve early detection, diagnosis, and care for families impacted by neurodegenerative disease.
