Pledge To Participate ›

The Concussion Legacy Foundation and US Lacrosse are proud to bring Team Up Speak Up to lacrosse coaches and athletes across the country! The simple Team Up Speak Up Speech will improve concussion culture on your team. The core message: athletes have a responsibility to speak up to a team leader if they notice concussion signs in a teammate.

Check out our printable instructions on how teams participated in US Lacrosse Team Up Speak Up Week March 1-7:
Athletic Trainers
Athletic Directors
School/Organization Administrators

The third annual US Lacrosse Team Up Speak Up Week was March 1-7, 2020. Every lacrosse coach in America was asked to give this simple, one-minute speech at the beginning of the season to help improve concussion reporting and change the concussion culture for the better. Join the fight against concussions with NCAA Champion coaches Lars Tiffany, Jenny Levy, and Kelly Amonte Hiller, and Team USA players Tucker Durkin and Kylie Ohlmiller:

Or watch coaches from Team USA, Georgetown, the University of Maryland, and Loyola University Maryland explain why activating teammates through Team Up Speak Up is a great way to build a positive team culture.

Take the pledge below to let us know you'll play your part and #TeamUpSpeakUp to fight concussions.
