Pledge To Participate ›

The Concussion Legacy Foundation and USA Hockey are proud to bring Team Up Speak Up to players and coaches throughout the country! USA Hockey community members participate by delivering a simple speech to improve their team culture surrounding concussions and concussion reporting. The speech's core message: athletes have a responsibility to speak up to a team leader if they notice concussion signs in a teammate.

After careful consideration, our annual USA Hockey Team Up Speak Up Week campaign will be postponed until sports can widely and safely resume in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. For those able to safely practice and compete, please remember to give the Team Up Speak Up Speech and post your videos using #TeamUpSpeakUp!

In October 2018, we partnered with USA Hockey for the first ever USA Hockey Team Up Speak Up Week. NHL legend Jeremy Roenick, Las Vegas Golden Knights winger Max Pacioretty, and Olympic gold medalist Amanda Kessel asked coaches around the country to give the Team Up Speak Up Speech to begin their seasons.
