Barbara Piette

Vice President | Barbara Piette returns to the Board of Directors after serving an initial term from 2018-21.

She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Avoca Partners, where she advises newer venture firms and entrepreneurs on their company-building processes.  She serves as a Senior Advisor to Knightsbridge Advisors, where she previously was Managing Principal, responsible for all aspects of portfolio management, including all investment due diligence and decision-making processes.

Piette received an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and graduated first in her class at Boston College. She is a faculty lecturer of graduate courses at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, a member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum, a previous board member of MIT’s Koch Center for Cancer Research, and an active supporter of several other nonprofits.

Piette’s daughter Esther is a CLF ambassador who bravely shared her struggles with PCS as a high school student-athlete. Both women continue to advocate for concussion safety, education, and support for concussion patients and caregivers.
