Madigan Paradis

HelpLine Coordinator

Madigan first joined the Concussion Legacy Foundation in June 2022 as an intern in the Patient Services department. After two summers of interning, she transitioned into the Assistant HelpLine Coordinator and most recently has taken on the role of the HelpLine Coordinator in January 2025.

Having suffered a concussion in high school while playing soccer and enduring undiagnosed post-concussion syndrome (PCS) for several years, Madigan’s deep interest in the effects of concussions was sparked. Additionally, her grandfather, Sheldon Paradis’s, brain was donated in 2008 to the BU CTE Center after his passing, where he was diagnosed with CTE. This connection made Madigan and her family a part of the legacy family community. Throughout her PCS recovery, Madigan became more familiar with CLF’s mission, gaining insight through her family’s involvement in the legacy family community. The combination of her grandfather’s CTE diagnosis, her own PCS journey, and her family’s participation in Division 1 college-level sports furthered her drive to understand the long-term effects of brain injuries.

Madigan decided to pursue her interest in this field and graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Neuroscience in May 2023. She currently resides in Boston, MA where she spends her time outside of work walking, reading, trying new exercise classes, playing the piano, and spending quality time with her family & friends.

Madigan is excited to continue her career as a HelpLine Coordinator and contribute
to the mission of CLF by helping those impacted by concussions and CTE, advocating for safer sports, and supporting the research efforts to End CTE.
