The CLF HelpLine supports Boston College Athletic Alumni who are navigating the outcomes of brain injury.
This resource referral service for Eagles is provided in honor and memory of Scott Harrington (Football ’85) with support from CLF ambassadors Doug Guyer (Football ’83), Steve Strachan (Football ’85), and Pete Cronan (Football ’77). If you or a loved one are concerned about suspected Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), are struggling with lingering symptoms, or suffered a recent concussion, we want to hear from you.
Submit a CLF HelpLine request below for nearby medical provider recommendations, peer support connections, or symptom and treatment information. We’ll respond within 3 business days.

Mental Health Emergency
If you want or need immediate mental health support, call the 24-hour line 617-934-1022 to connect with a trained professional at CLF’s partner organization Intent Clinical. Mention the CLF HelpLine for Boston College Athletic Alumni. Intent Clinical’s team, including full-time licensed therapists skilled in dealing with these situations, will be available to you for immediate help such as wellness checks, virtual or in person support, and psychological assessments. Their team will respond within 20 minutes.
The CLF HelpLine collaborates with Intent Clinical for crisis management services to support Boston College Athletic Alumni and their families. Several Intent Clinical services are available to you at no cost. An Eagle Football Alum has made a donation to cover Intent Clinical’s professional fees.
