Philip de Picciotto has been at the forefront of the sports and entertainment industry for 35 years. He is a co-founder of Octagon, which has been recognized consistently for the quality of its work, breadth of its services, global footprint and highly personalized approach to corporate marketing, talent representation, property ownership, event management and media rights advisory.

De Picciotto has been involved in many of the industry’s most important initiatives, including the removal of tobacco sponsorship from professional tennis and the introduction of healthier drinks into New York City’s public schools. He may be best known for building the brands and overseeing the careers of many of the world’s most recognizable athletes and celebrities, ranging from Super Bowl champions to Olympic gold medalists to royalty to network broadcasters.

De Picciotto graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College and earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Supreme Court Bars and is a Washington Business Hall of Fame Laureate. Octagon has won many of the industry’s most prestigious awards, including most recently the Sports Business Journal’s Best in Talent Representation Award. De Picciotto sits on the Executive Board of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, the Board of Directors of Right To Play USA and The Economic Club of Washington, and the National Advisory Board of the Concussion Legacy Foundation.
